Training/Education
Team Training Programs
Keystone Pacific strongly promotes the continued industry education of our team members because we care about the present and future of their professional development. In order to address the increasing sophistication and complexity of community associations, we employ structured in-house training programs and require attendance of educational seminars and certification programs offered through our trade affiliations, CAI and CACM.
Our in-house training includes:
- Community Association Management Training
Our Dedicated Director of Training coordinates and oversees continuous training for all community association managers. Various monthly training topics include taxes and audit, property inspections, budget preparation, etc. Training modules and testing programs are implemented to ensure new community association managers are trained thoroughly on all aspects of community association management and association financial management.
- Community Maintenance Training
Each month, a vendor provides training to community managers on pertinent topics such as terminate control, street maintenance, traffic control, mold remediation, insurance updates, landscaping enhancements, etc.
Board Training Programs
Board education is a key component to a Board governing a community association effectively. Keystone Pacific offers various training programs to our Boards because we care about our Boards making prudent decisions to better serve the needs of their community and residents.
For our board member clients, we offer the following board training programs:
- Quarterly Educational Seminars
Every quarter, Keystone Pacific conducts complimentary seminars that focus on board fiduciary responsibilities and various, vital aspects of community association operations.
- New Board Treasurer Training
Board training programs include one-on-one treasurer training sessions. Upon request, our Controller meets with your new Board Treasurer after induction into the position and as necessary thereafter.
- New Board Member Orientation
As part of our quarterly board seminar series, the new board member orientation seminar covers fiduciary obligations, legal document referencing, and other suggestions to aid in orienting new board members to their new position.
- Developer Board Orientation
Offered to our developer/builder clients, a special orientation meeting is offered to advise newly elected board members and sales staff regarding developer/builder vs. homeowner responsibilities, neighbor-to-neighbor disputes, fiduciary responsibilities, parliamentary procedures, etc.
